The Schillerwiesen are a well-attended excursion destination. There are benches, a playground, paths for strolling, large lawns for various leisure activities and these ponds. There is usually less activity around the upper ponds. The entire pond cascade is varied. My children used to like to let their model boats swim here. An interesting detail about the cascades: Moostuff forms next to the small waterfalls.

Hiking

The small Reinsbach, which flows through the Schillerwiesen, gives the place a very special charm.
With a few ponds (unfortunately every now and then they are clogged with a lot of branches and leaves), their many small waterfalls and small bridges make this place something romantic for me.
