Querfurt Castle has a number of striking towers: 1. The Fat Heinrich, a round tower from the 12th century without windows, fireplace or privy, is the only Romanesque tower in the castle. Its height is 27.50 meters, the bottom diameter is 14 meters and the bottom wall thickness is 4.35 meters. Its wreath of loopholes was added in the 15th century.
