Although there are two previous waterfalls along the Skógá that are definitely worth seeing, Fremri-Fellsfoss is considered the first of the dozens of waterfalls along the Laugavegur to be considered a high-quality waterfall. If you don't have the time to hike to the larger waterfalls upstream, it is highly recommended to get at least this far past Skógafoss.

This waterfall is one of the largest and most visited waterfalls in Iceland, dropping 62 meters from the cliffs at Skógar.
