After passing Kæfufoss there is a long stretch of trail where no waterfalls are immediately visible, as the slope decreases slightly and the trail moves away from the river. Although there is another waterfall between the two, we couldn't find a safe location to view it. Before the Gluggafoss you have a very deep ravine that is just as impressive as the waterfalls.

Great view down into the gorge. It is worth turning around and looking back while walking up as the scenery changes continuously.
