The stairs from the Hallmarkt to the Marktkirche in the direction of the Marktplatz were designed by street artists for the first time in 2021, making them an eye-catcher and a popular photo motif. First koi swam in the water, in 2022 the stairs became a colorful sea of flowers with oversized butterflies. No matter how beautiful and lively the motif is, it remains exciting to see what comes next. Because transience is characteristic of this art form. A project by Stadtwerke Halle in cooperation with the city of Halle (Saale).
