The church from 1190 was once demolished. Only the tower of the Church of St. Anna remained on the old foundation walls.
The current church dates from 1837. The construction of the nave made it necessary to demolish St. Michael's Chapel. Remains of the original nave can still be seen. The organs come from Pairis Abbey.
Also an Alsatian stop on the way to Santiago de Compostella.
