"The city garden culture is boundlessly and harmoniously connected with the open landscape of the Styrum (left) Ruhr river; the Broicher Damm and the adjoining Styrum bridge carry us, after a short acoustic thunderstorm along the B223 mountain road, across to the quiet Styrum (right) Ruhr river; further to the imposing tower of the Aquarius Water Museum, in the sight of which we enjoy our sixth and last break in the lonely but unfortunately rubbish-filled Styrum castle park, in the light of the late afternoon sun."
