Hiking

The Geißkäth, witty herb woman from "The Witches Hunter", who knows how to help herself even in difficult situations, refers to the monasteries, which around 1000 years ago became cultural and political centers where knowledge was collected (e.g. herbal knowledge, i.e. medicine ) and politics was made. Herbal knowledge was a basis for the art of healing in earlier times. In Northeim it was mainly the monks in the monastery of St. Blasien who “took care” of it.
