The Kreuzberg lies at an altitude of 370 meters above sea level and offers a wonderful view over Gemünd.
Gemünd is protected on the slopes of the Kermeter high forest and is a recognized Kneipp spa due to its attractive climate. Gemünd got its name from its location at the mouth of the Olef river in the Urft. The town borders directly on the Eifel National Park and is therefore a good starting point for excursions and hikes.
