Julius "Gyula" Count Andrássy of Csík-Szent-Király and Kraszna-Horka the Elder [ɟulɒ ɒndraːʃi] (born March 8, 1823 in Košice, Abaúj - Torna County, † 18 February 1890 in Volosca, Austrian coastal land) was a Hungarian Magnat, insurgent against Habsburg and leading politician in the Austro-Hungarian dual monarchy.
Gyula Andrássy is named after the Budapest boulevard Andrássy út and the German-speaking Andrássy University in Budapest.

The memorial dedicated to the former Minister of the Twin Monarchy Gyula Andrássy (1867-1871) was built in 1906 with a height of 6.5 meters. Removed from the Communists in 1945, it was rebuilt in 2013 as part of the reconstruction of Kossuth Square.
