Climb all the way to the carillonneur's room, where you can attend the carillon concert and enjoy the beautiful view over Tournai.
As you climb the 257 steps, you will discover rooms with didactic panels, exhibitions, the dungeon, the carillonneur's room and the carillon that rings the bells every Sunday in summer.
Since the renovation in 2004, the Belfry of Tournai has 55 bells. It is one of the only places in Belgium where the visitor can attend the carillonneur's concert.
The garden of the Folklore Museum, a stone's throw from the Grand-Place, is also a privileged place to listen (free entrance during the concert).
The top of the belfry offers the most beautiful panorama of Tournai. A must during your visit!
