Research Trail Schachenbach

Location and history: The explorer's path is located at the Schachenbach and in the Schachen forest. How it came to a ban forest I have explained below.
It has a length of about 1.0 km
An Bannwald is generally left to its own devices and over time becomes a primeval forest again.
That is why the research path or the spell forest also serves as a scientific observation area for jungle research.
And this is how the path got its name Explorer Path.
It's quiet there and you can hear the birds chirping. Now and then you can hear something rustling in the leaves. A really nice experience. An idyll like in the jungle. Pure nature.
The path is very easy to walk and every now and then you have to climb over tree trunks, but that's exactly what makes hiking fun.
