Hiking
It was erected in the Sebalder Reichswald forest in the 1970s and 1980s and commemorates the red deer that were kept for hunting by the Margraves of Bayreuth for centuries. Due to the high deer population and the associated damage to the forest, the red deer were later removed from the area.
