A chapel has stood in the center of the village since the 17th century. There is evidence that services were held there until the 19th century. The chapel was built immediately after the end of the Thirty Years' War. Engraved on the doorstone in Latin script is "HAEC DOMUS SANCTORUM AEDIFICATA IN HONOREM SANCTISSIMAE TRINITATIS DIVAEQUE VIRGINIS MARIAE 1649 17 MAY." The chapel was subsequently consecrated in honor of the Holy Trinity and the Virgin Mary on May 17, 1649.
