The current Schloss Dornreichenbach was built in the 17th century and rebuilt in the 19th century. The associated manor, the traces of which go back to the 15th century, is much older. The castle cannot be visited. The Lutherweg and the Jakobsweg run through Dornreichenbach.

Hiking
A historian had the idea early on that the castle would be the perfect venue for knight tournaments, which were held for several years from 1889. The owners were expropriated after the Second World War, but the castle is now privately owned again. It has been extensively restored. Since then, Dornreichenbach Castle has been privately inhabited, but also used as an event venue.
