Dornreichenbach Animal Park

You cannot get there from the castle (private property)

Entrance is 1 euro based on trust. The meerkats are certainly exceptional for a provincial animal enclosure!

Our opening times
April to October: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
November to March: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The Dornreichenbach animal enclosure has been located in the middle of a park since 1972.
Our pride and joy is the largest meerkat enclosure in Saxony, which has been in existence since 2009.
For the little ones there is a petting zoo, an excavator and plenty of space to run and romp around. You can sit down and relax in our "green classroom" for a cozy picnic. Toilets are located in the pilgrim's rest area.
