The semicircular Lion Bench, erected in memory of Prince Ludwig Friedrich II of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, can be found on the ridge path of the Rudolstadt forest area "Hain." This hiking highlight is about a 15-minute walk from the Jägerhof. The curved Lion Bench was installed over 200 years ago and extensively restored in 2018. Today, you can linger here at any time of year and enjoy the magnificent view of the town.
