Rudolstadt Market Square

The new town hall on the north side of the Rudolstadt market square was built in its current form in 1912. At that time, the former, unadorned official building, which dates from the 17th century, was given its striking tower extension and an oriel in the Renaissance style. At the same time, an architecturally rich, light and yet discreet interior design was implemented, which was largely retained even during subsequent renovations and renovations in 1992.

The market square is surrounded by many beautiful historical buildings. Definitely visit: the Folkfest TFF at the beginning of July.
