The neo-Gothic sandstone church stands on the market square. After the great fire in the city in 1836, it was rebuilt on the site of the previous church and consecrated in 1852. The massive construction is particularly striking: mighty sandstone pillars carry a ribbed vault above the second continuous gallery. The sandstone retable altar was built as a pulpit altar and is one of the last of this type. The historic, mechanical organ from 1872 in the evangelical church is also worth seeing.
