The Marienkapelle is not far from the Old Castle. It was once the castle chapel of Hohenberneck Castle and even if not much is left of it, you feel transported back to an earlier time here. Add to that the wonderful view down into the valley – a magical place!

Bad Berneck was once one of the most beautiful circular hikes I did, whether it was the medieval ruins of Hohenberneck or Marienkapelle, the spa park or the Ölschnitztal.
