built in 1880, imposing bridge over the Briese

Nice entry into the Briesetal.

The striking bridge leads the state road 211 between Summt and the Oranienburg district of Lehnitz over the Briese. A bridge was built over the Briese as early as 1880. The current bridge structure was built in 1920.

The bridge marks half of the route from Zühlsdorf to Briese. There is a parking lot with a small rest area right by the bridge. From here you can take a circular route through the Briesetal both in the direction of Zühlsdorf and in the direction of Briese. Both hikes have hiking trails on either side of the Briese. At the old forester's house in Zühlsdorf, a snack is offered at the weekend before you return to the parking lot, in Briese there is a swimming lake and the forest school. Both paths have a total length of approx. 8 km.

Due to the many bridges over the Briese, the hike can be made as long as you like.
