The watchtower is the DDR model BT11. Mostly with this type still a searchlight was mounted on the roof.

The tower is located near a residential area, but is already surrounded by mother nature / forest. It stands on an old (presumably) military site, which can still be recognized by the remains of the fences and other objects. So better stay on the hiking trails! ☝️
