The wooden path meanders through the otherwise marshy terrain. If you breathe in, pause and look around, you will dream. I feel transported back to a country before our time on the edge of the creation story. Past primeval trees one experiences pure jungle feeling. Keep your eyes open definitely worth it! We even discovered a beaver dam that was heavily used for construction work.

In winter and in high humidity, caution is advised, the planks are smooth and there is hardly any side protection.

The footbridge leads over the marshes and peat bog, while information boards provide information about the special flora and fauna.

    - Here you can experience pure nature and especially for children there is much to discover
    - quiet and idyllic landscape with nature trails directly on the Briese
    - Circumnavigation of the breeze possible (hike of about 12 km), it is recommended to start in the south on Briesekrug or in the north on the old forester - both rest stops

Beautifully landscaped trail through the moorland with interesting information along the way.

Very slippery in the snow. For dogs, the joints are not necessarily suitable.

Extremely smooth for dog paws in snow. And the joints are also a bit too wide for the four-legged friends (even if they are tall)

The Briesetal is always worth a hike and the footbridge gives additional information about flora and fauna.

Quaint and wild. One of the most beautiful sections of the 66 lakes hiking trail.

Always nice to walk through a wetland and keep your feet dry.

With the dead trees and the large bog areas the Briesetal is a great nature experience. An exciting path runs along paths and boardwalks along the river.

Very slippery in autumn / winter. The joints are also quite large for dog paws. One has to pay attention.

He is definitely astonishingly sinuous and enchanted, this way and you always expect a unicorn to appear from somewhere.

The boardwalk is very well developed, now with snow caution is necessary.

Bohlensteg through the wetland of the Briese. The planks are made of plastic - this has the advantage that they are not slippery when wet. Fantastic views of the alder quarry.

Extremely slippery in the snow. For dog paws the big joints are a problem.

Overall, the Briesetal is beautiful and always worth an afternoon. When the weather is nice, you are certainly not alone in nature, but that does not detract from the enjoyment of nature.
