The late Gothic chapel of St. Ursula, built in 1520/21, is located about 500 meters south of Hohenfurch on a green hill. The chapel, consecrated to the patron saint of raftsmen, was a place for devotions and prayers about the safe return from the timber transports that led over the Lech and the Danube to the Black Sea. From the bench on the west side of the chapel you have a wonderful view of the Lech and the Alps.
