One of the old districts of Trier with some nice houses and a promenade. Today there is one restaurant after the other. The view of the other side of the Moselle is beautiful and you sit on the terraces more quietly than the street near you might assume.

The fishermen's houses built around 1800 are now mostly inns. Zurlauben or "Zalawen" in the Trier dialect is one of the nightlife districts in Trier. The properties on the shore have been converted into beer gardens - so you can spend a nice break here with a view of the Moselle.
