Since the 13th century, the Evangelical Lutheran Kreuzkirche has been the ecclesiastical center of the village. In 1901 it was rebuilt by the Dresden architect Woldemar Kandler and since then has had Art Nouveau interior elements. The associated cemetery was created shortly after the church was built. Among other things, the Saxon general Hugo Senfft von Pilsach found his final resting place here. A wide driveway leads along the cemetery wall along the edge of the field, on which there is also the children's and youth farm “Playground”.
