Today we went through the Bautzener Oberland.
Klosterberg (394m), Hoher Hahn (446m) and Stiebitzberg (369m) were today's stage points. The weather was kind to us too. Wonderful clouds and a good view make you constantly pull out your cell phone to take pictures.
On the other hand, the paths today were partly "very difficult terrain" - soil deep, penetrometer value: 7.5 and more cm. We practically drove the route twice. Mud and mud, trees lying across, from overgrown dirt roads, everything there. But it was fun. The Valtenberg invited us all along.
If it can be driven better, it will certainly be integrated into the lap, but that was just too much for us today.
We had already visited the quarries on the Klosterberg on foot in autumn. Everything seemed a bit mystical because of the autumn weather. But it was clear to us - here we definitely have to ride our bikes.

The mountain bike is called a mountain bike because you can bend over the mountains with it (is that correct now ;-)).
Said and done. So today we finally went to Saxon Switzerland with the roof rack.
Something has come together for the first trip, but what the heck.
There were two places where the overload protection responded. Winter is still in the bones.
But all in all a cool round. The weather was also there. Sun, rain, snow and, for a moment, wind. It's still April ...
Unfortunately, there were also sections that were completely blocked by the wind break. That cost the tour quite a bit of time. We took it with humor and "avoided" the obstacles.
We then found the drive through the Trebnitzgrund back to Schlottwitz wonderful. There weren't many hikers on the way either, so we could have a lot of fun with the MTB.

There is a destination for every tour.
For today it was the Schwarze Teich and Schneider's Steenloch near Steina. Actually, the way back should take us over the Finke. But then the sun god left us and the rain got stronger and stronger. That is why we decided to retreat, not the variant over the open field, but through the bush again.
A nice little round that can certainly be a lot of fun when the weather is nice.

Take photos today without people? Almost an impossibility.
But of course, the brilliant weather pulls everyone out.
Since the bike rack had not yet been installed, we “only” had a short-term goal today. The heath still has so many paths for us to explore, one by one.
So today we are up the window on Gutenbornbach and down again on Eisenbornbach. In any case, there is still room for improvement. Next time we only have to drive over the meadow path to fully enjoy the Eisenbornbach.
It will. At some point we will have a complete trail through the HeideAreal.
Although today it went great on the forest highway.
At the Prießnitzfall we also got to know the Cherin. :-)

Hum hum hum,
Ebike's all around. In places today it felt like a giant slalom. Masses of people on the move.
I had already feared that and thought, you are alone in the dark valley, THOUGHT.
But Herr Wagner seems to have attracted quite a few.
The climbing wall was also well attended.
