Mollenbeekdaal Trail

A quiet footpath that follows the course of the Mollenbeekdaal.
You can follow this watercourse in the local Water Walk is 7.5 km or 5 km long and goes along slow roads and waterways in the center of Bierbeek. On these walks you will get to know many facets of water.
For the long route follow red arrows and it is 7.5 km long.
Short route for '4 kids' = 5 km and follow the blue arrows.

A nice walking path takes you along the watercourse...

Beautiful path that runs parallel to the Mollendaalbeek and passes at the back of the Bierbeek cemetery. It takes you to the protected church of Bierbeek and some protected older village houses in the center of the municipality. On the other side there is a beautifully renovated farm with a bench and a bit of a fairytale/artistic/special environment and atmosphere thanks to the residents. About halfway there is a bridge over the stream that takes you to Meerdaalwoud and/or to the beautiful Brabant square farm Bordingenhof, which you can already see after walking for a minute after crossing the bridge. Note for those who follow the GR 512 Brabantse Heuvelroute: it is certainly worthwhile to walk a little extra to the center of Bierbeek (after all, the main route path only goes as far as the bridge where you take the Kerkweg).
