The Bergenhof was once a seigniory of the lords of Bergen (van den Berghe), a vassal of the Baronie van Bierbeek. In the second half of the 18th century, this farm was thoroughly rebuilt on old foundations. Above the door in French style we find the date 1762. The stables date from 1678. In 1863 large parts of the land were sold, the remainder was used as a farm until 1964. Afterwards it was thoroughly restored and renovated to live in.
