The Reindersmeer forms an important natural link between the Bergerheide and De Hamert in Wellerlooi. The lake covers 130 hectares. Its shores are covered with heather, grasses, and other plants. In between are pools and fens with large drifting sand areas. The distinctive drifting dunes, for which the area is named, are clearly visible in the landscape.
