The harbor appears in the high season & in the holiday season but very crowded, thus from "behind" the castle and here on foot or by bike on the quieter castle island!
Especially here there is much to discover (including a very large water playground, etc.)

Lübbenau, Lower Sorbian Lubnjow / Błota, is referred to as the gateway to the Spreewald. There are a number of sights in the city itself. In addition to the St. Nikolai Church you will find the legendary fountain with figures from the Spreewald saga. The Lübbenau Castle has an orangery and a castle park and is a good hotel.
Not to mention, of course, the Kahnhafen! And the city also has a thermal bath where you can swim with the penguins.
If you are in the Kahnhafen, you should definitely eat at "Fischers Fritz" (a fish snack). There are the best fish rolls EVER !!!!
