The castle and the park of Lübbenau are beautiful to look at. You only get into the castle if you have enough money to spend the night in. It is a hotel today.

The castle and its surrounding park are the oldest part of the town of Lübbenau.
The area around Lübbenau Castle has often served as a filming location for the popular Spreewald crime drama, broadcast annually by ZDF.
Archaeological excavations at the historic castle complex in
Lübbenau have unearthed tools from the Mesolithic period.
Objects from the Bronze and Iron Ages have also been found here.
Today, the so-called castle district contains a large park with mature trees
and artificial ponds. You can admire copper beeches, tulip trees, swamp oaks
and bald cypresses on your walk through the park.
