Johannes Larsen (1867-1961) was a Danish painter.
On June 4, 1898, he married the painter Alhed Maria Warberg (known as an artist under the name Alhed Larsen). In 1901-02 the artist couple built a house on Møllebakken in Kerteminde. The house not only provided a picturesque backdrop for family life, but also became an artistic meeting place for a large number of painters, writers, and sculptors.
The house and the adjoining buildings are now a museum under the name Johannes Larsen Museum.

A beautiful museum!
The garden, residential building, summer house and the adjoining house can be visited, here you can get pretty close to the painter. Various "feather animals" run around freely through the garden. There is also a nice cafe.
We were here in 2020 and were totally thrilled 🤩
