On foot you should note that in Denmark many paths lead through property and you should keep a distance of 150m to the property.
Dogs are not allowed in the museum itself, so keep this in mind when planning your activity. Unfortunately, my dog cannot wait 1.5 hours in front of the entrance. Next time I'll go by car.

It was an entertaining trip. Dogs are now allowed on the grounds, provided they are on a leash. They are not allowed into the burial mound. But there are specially set up dog parking spaces for that 😊 The grounds themselves - behind the exhibition building - are also beautifully laid out. Lots of grass and picnic areas.
The replica ship is also located by the water.
There is certainly a lot to experience here in the summer, when archery and all the other activities make not only children's hearts beat faster.
