Flaschenhalspark Railway Path

On the former railway area between Yorckstraße and Monument Bridge in the district Tempelhof-Schöneberg lies the Flaschenhalspark. The development of the park transformed a previously inaccessible piece of inner-city wasteland into a new green space for recreation, sport and leisure. The Flaschenhalspark in conjunction with the Monumentenplatz and the north-south green corridor allows a continuous route system to walk in the countryside from the Naturpark Südgelände in Schöneberg over the park at the Gleisdreieck to Tiergarten in Mitte, ride a bike or skate. This route connection is at the same time a part of the designated long-distance cycling route Berlin-Leipzig.
