  • The approximately 31.5-hectare park is located on the former railway fields of the Anhalter and Potsdam freight yard on the Gleisdreieck.

The "track wilderness", denominated "unsecured" dense wilderness areas that have developed out of the old tracks, signal remnants, railway tracks and water ponds, form their own biotope.

In the north lie between the park sections the buildings and facilities of the German Museum of Technology. The city center park close to the city center has over 30,000 immediate residents.

  • This place is part of the park at the Gleisdreieck. The seating is an ideal place to pause and breathe. Or for a good book. :-) The windmill belongs by the way to the model park of the technical museum.

  • Nice park on the old railway site. A great connection for cyclists from the center (Potsdamer Platz/Anhalter Bahnhof) to Schöneberg to the Südkreuz and further along the railway line to the Priesterweg in the direction of Steglitz/Lankwitz. The view towards Potsdamer Platz is very nice, as is the crossing of the old Yorckbrücken (many old railway bridges over Yorckstrasse, one or two are used for cycling and walking). You can also watch great trains here, either at the top of the Hochbahn (underground) at Gleisdreieck or long-distance and regional trains that come out of the tunnel here in the park.

  • The wheel is rolling here!

This access is somewhat hidden and is often overlooked.

Since Komoot unfortunately still prefers the side staircase access when planning the bike, this should serve as an orientation point.
