Catholic churches St. Suitbertus (called "Dom" because of the high, highly visible, neo-Gothic spire; laying of the foundation stone of the church on July 5, 1896, later war damage) and St. Ludgerus (consecration 1962); also the catholic chapel St. Jakobus abbot kitchen (completed in 1909 in neo-Romanesque style) in the abbot kitchen / Hetterscheidt opposite the reservoir, there the former summer residence of the abbots of Werden monastery, called Schloss Hetterscheidt.
