"... The Rinderbach (GKZ 27698), also called Vogelsangbach after the Heiligenhauser residential area and today's Vogelsang district, is an 11.7 km long, orographically left tributary of the Ruhr.
The stream rises in Velbert at an altitude of 238 m above sea level. NN. From here, the Rinderbach and Vogelsangbach initially flow in a northwesterly and westerly direction. It is dammed to form a lake near Abtsküche and passes through the center of Heiligenhaus on the northern outskirts. Here the course turns north. In Kettwig before the bridge the Rinderbach flows at 37 m above sea level. NN to the Ruhr. ..."
