The stream rises in Velbert at an altitude of 238 m above sea level. NN. From here, the Rinderbach and Vogelsangbach initially flow in a northwesterly and westerly direction. It is dammed to form a lake near Abtsküche and passes through the center of Heiligenhaus on the northern outskirts. Here the course turns north. In Kettwig before the bridge the Rinderbach flows at 37 m above sea level. NN to the Ruhr. ..."

We started this tour in Isenbügel and hiked through paradise to the Abtskuch pond. But we only circled it halfway and then continued on towards Velbert to Wollerskotten on the hill. The view from here towards Isenbügel, Heiligenhaus and Essen Kettwig is really great. From above it went slowly back down to the Oefte golf course and at the end the path back up to Isenbügel. There are always great views of the surrounding cities and beautiful quiet sections in between.
