Germany's first wagon bridge designed by developer Ulrich Diehl, which was installed as a pedestrian and bicycle bridge as a reconditioned bogie flat car type Rgs-w 672 from Deutsche Bahn. A special feature is that the entire wagon with all attachments was mounted on the supports.

How cool: this bridge is made from an old railway carriage. The wagon was finely restored for the bridge and installed here as part of an advertising campaign for the NRW Chamber of Civil Engineers. And that's why you can not only admire the wagon here, but even drive over it yourself.

The waggon bridge is a highlight of the panorama cycle path in the middle of Heiligenhaus. And if you are in a hurry, you can even overlook the fact that the bridge was built from an old wagon. So take your time, be mindful, look at signs, recognize, take a break and run around once. It's worth it. And next door, at the Kultkaffeerösterei can also enjoy an excellent espresso.
