The park museum, former manor of the estate, in which the formative interior decoration of the 19th century is preserved in some areas, houses not only the city and art historical collections but also a prehistoric and protohistoric department.

In the late 1970s, the castle was renovated and since then houses the museum. At the same time, the surrounding park was opened to the public. Although the exhibits are not spectacular, the castle offers a great ambience. Especially noteworthy is the hunting room, where weddings take place.
