The Soester Gräfte is a beautiful park, which was created from the historic city fortifications and is located in front of the wall outside the old town. The rose garden in the Gräfte is located on the Dasselwall. The wall as the actual fortification is lined with large old trees and can also be walked on. From the wall there are some very nice views of historic old town houses, as well as the moats and the rose garden. A "highlight" of the wall is also the Kattenturm.
