Today I met up with my "Toscana girls" at the Bauernhofcafé Sebbel. We had a lot to catch up on and first enjoyed coffee ☕️ and a decent slice of cake 🍰. A short walk through the Sebbelheide 🌳🌿 in the shade was just right afterwards. We had dinner at Purino and could sit very nicely on the terrace by the Halterner See.

I found the idea for today's tour on Komoot. In some places I had to reroute, as paths were blocked (storm damage, especially in the area of the H-Bahn 🚟). Oh well, I went around it, unfortunately then on gravel or asphalt. 🤷🏼♀️ It was definitely a change from the desk weekend.

The beautiful sunny ☀️ day was used for an excursion to Museumsinsel Hombroich. Admission is €15 p.p. if you only want to explore the Museumsinsel. It was time to redeem my Christmas present from my girlfriend. 😀 This included a visit to the Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden in Wuppertal, including an invitation to coffee ☕️ and cake 🍰 at Café Podest.

Today we arrived in Gräfelfing near Munich, as my niece is celebrating her confirmation tomorrow. After an 8.5-hour drive over crowded motorways, we had to take a short walk through the Paul-Diehl-Park. Afterwards, we're going to dinner at my brother's, he's firing up the grill.
