This small height with an inscription is somewhat hidden next to the fire hut on a rock plateau.
This reads as follows: “I am happy that I have not been spoiled; The lure of nature pleases .; Such a region, friend, reconciled; Me with the weariness of the world .; One gets tired of life; With all the ebb and flow of the city .; Yet here, busy or idle; no one is fed up with his existence .; Moritz August von Thümmel (1738-1817) ”.

Hiking
Everyone goes to the Brand to enjoy the Brandbaude with the wonderful view. Only a few go around the corner. There's the grotto, a few rocks and a very nice vantage point with a bench, certainly a bit quieter.
