After some enthusiastic hobby gardeners joined together to form the Bürgergarten Initiative (BüGI) Haan in 2016, the joint work on the Bürgergarten in Schillerpark on Windhövel began in spring 2017.
In the meantime, numerous citizens use the area as a forum and as a place to linger and enjoy the voluntary design. One focus is on fruits, vegetables and herbs. In addition, private individuals, associations and institutions have the option of creating and maintaining their own raised pallet bed at any time. Helping green fingers are always welcome. ... "
