This Gothic palace was built from 1454 to 1473, as a residence for the Dukes of Burgundy (then Philip the Good). The palace was almost completely burned down. The staircase of honour was moved here. Thus, on the ground floor there is the hall of the guards (tourist office) and above the private chapel of the dukes. On the side of the chapel, outside there is a large monument in honour of the dead of the two world wars.
