Hiking
Where the Kille was flushed by an existing lock until 1970 and was therefore kept free from silting to a certain extent, this changed as a result of the Sigma plan, the works of which were implemented from 1977 onwards.
Dike heightening and the construction of a pumping station and removal of the lock also reshaped the image of the old Kille.
