Hiking
A dream place to stay. Many great colors and fragrant fragrances, Europe's largest flowered flowerbed, a butterfly house, children's farm, Japanese rock and water garden, children's / water playground, Bücherpavilion (free book rental), hammocks and park benches on well-kept meadows, kiosk, sanitary facilities and café available. The entrance fee of 8 € (2017) for an adult I think is quite justified, you should just take time for it.

Hiking
Built in the 1960s according to plans by Walter Funcke and Reinhold Lingner at the then IGA (international horticultural exhibition), 2015 completely renovated. The water axis is about 150m long and contains 4 fountains.
