30 Meissen porcelain bells ring out in Böttcherstrasse, playing sailor's and folk songs with their bright sound.
In the neighboring tower, 10 picture panels dedicated to those explorers and adventurers who crossed the ocean - either by ship or by air - rotate at the same time.
The carillon delights young and old every hour (APR-DEC 12:00-18:00h) and is an important and endearing part of the Böttcherstrasse work of art.
