The Modersohnbrücke is a railway bridge over the S-Bahn ring in the Friedrichshain district. The bridge was built in the 1920s and originally served as a transport route for coal and heavy industry. Today, the bridge is an important part of the Berlin skyline and a symbol of Berlin's industrial past.

The bridge was named after the engineer Carl Johann Modersohn who designed and built the bridge. Modersohn was an innovative engineer known for his pioneering designs and ability to solve engineering problems.
