The high-rise Süddeutscher Verlag (SV-Hochhaus) houses the headquarters of the Süddeutscher Verlag and the German School of Journalism. The striking office tower with its 27 floors was built in 2006/07. The building was originally designed at a height of 145, but after a referendum it was reduced to 99.5m and thus within the permissible Munich construction height of 100m (management-circle.de/blog/muenchen-und-hochhaeuser /).
